Course aim

This course is one element of a program which aims to teach a cognitive approach to its component subjects as well as a practical one. The course thus includes tuition in analytical and deductive skills, delivered within a practical context.
This course aims to introduce the basic concepts and tools of system integration to enable the student to identify and use appropriate techniques in integration environments.

Course content

DT&E and its input to AT&E. Test coverage. Accepting components into integration. Managing the configuration. The competing demands on integration and test facilities. Reviews. Baselines. Measuring progress. Documentation. Emergent properties. Qualification, acceptance and manufacture.
