Course aim

The course provides familiarisation with the concepts and principles of software design within the software engineering discipline, and experience in the use of some of the more common tools and approaches used in the field.

Course content

Course content includes topics: Software Engineering Processes and Standards, Software Life Cycle Planning, Software Estimation basics and techniques, Software Risk Management, Software Requirements basics, Software Design and Construction, Software Maintenance, Quality Management and Configuration Management.
