Course aim

Provides theory, skills and foundation to evaluate and manage the collection lifecycle in a variety of information settings.

Course content

Aspects of the collection lifecycle – development, acquisition, management, evaluation, and deselection. Access to works through publishing, licensing, document delivery, platform development and Open Access. Disaster preparedness. Futures of collection management.
