Course aim

The aim of this course is to develop the knowledge and professional frameworks to understand Nursing practice in a global context.

Course content

Information, digital and mathematical literacy: introduction to e-portolio, academic writing, numeracy, regulation, legislation, accountability, professional standards and codes of practice, communication and teamwork skills, inter-professional learning, cultural competency, introduction to concepts of research, critical thinking, reflection, quality and safety, review of fundamental nursing skills.
