Course aim

The aim of this course is to provide students of high academic ability an opportunity to develop the necessary research competencies to effectively plan a substantial research project relevant to the profession.

Course content

Application of research principles and methodology including research questions, literature review and critique, sampling procedures and selection, qualitative and quantitative designs, research rigour, and the role of ethics in research. Research writing including ethics proposals.
