This research methods course provides students with the skills to collect data, analyse and evaluate a situation using theoretical insights and to write case study results.
Case study critique; types of cases and their purposes; Identification of a suitable case and case situations; understanding the role of theory in case research and an introduction to possible theory; data collection; qualitative data analysis using NVivo; case writing skills; ethical issues and approvals.
