To examine a range of advanced journalism roles, issues and specialisations from the perspective of professional practitioners and to engage in advanced professional development for practice in journalism.
Students will develop advanced understanding of professional practice in journalism through contribution to the School's online publication for Journalism students, and by undertaking an industry placement. Students will also examine specialised areas of journalism and prepare for professional practice and consolidate their application of journalism skills through development of a portfolio of work.
