Course aim

To demonstrate familiarity with basic research practices in sustainable design through the development and completion of a small independent research project proposed in ARCH 6004 Research in Sustainable Design.

Course content

The development and completion of an independent research project as a thesis on a topic proposed in ARCH 6004 Research in Sustainable Design; workshops on developing and completing a thesis, postgraduate research, the relationship between theory and method, argument, point of view, style and content, visual elements and written text; individual student work-in-progress presentations with feedback from course coordinator and relevant Masters supervisors.
