Course aim

To complete a research project that is informed by Aboriginal world views and meets both Aboriginal community and Uni SA standards for research.

Course content

The Aboriginal research project will address an area of specific professional interest to each student, for example education, social work, health, the arts and multi-media, the law which is also of interest to an Aboriginal community or communities. The role of research and its impact upon Aboriginal peoples and their communities will be examined from a socially critical perspective. Examples of collaborative research projects with Aboriginal Communities will be examined in workshops along with literature relevant to students’ projects.
