To develop students' knowledge of the approaches to Aboriginal health and wellbeing.
The students will develop an understanding of the approaches to Aboriginal health, and social and emotional wellbeing. The students will explore the national and international approaches to colonialism, racism and social injustice and the positioning of the professional working in this field and examine the applicability of community development and primary health care ideas for current social problems such as family violence, substance misuse and social alienation.
