To provide a sound understanding of the basis behind the formulation of parenteral and ophthalmic dosage forms, their quality and their fate following administration; methods of sterilization, disinfection and aseptic technique; the basis behind the microbiological preservation of pharmaceutical products and to maintain proficiency in calculations relevant to formulation.
Parenteral products; Freeze drying; Sterilization and disinfection, aseptic processes and controlled airflow rooms; Ophthalmic products; Veterinary pharmaceutical products.
