This course is about the time management and teamwork skills that are required for effective research management.
This unit will examine the main strands of research into leadership (leaders, their followers and the situation) focusing on contemporary approaches to theories and models of leadership. It will examine the influence of these on the development of leadership and workplace communication skills within the research team environment including: communicating vision, purpose and goals; team building; negotiating; conflict resolution; and evaluating processes and outcomes.
