Course aim

The aim of this course it to engage students in the strategies and challenges involved in managing organisational resources.

Course content

  • Identifying and investigating the challenges involved in the management of organisational resources including relevance, accessibility, legality, security, risks and value.
  • Development of integrated resource management strategies.
  • Outsourcing and procurement strategies particularly in relation to e-procurement.
  • Development and implementation of policies and procedure for efficient and effective resource management.
  • Management of information management systems development, implementation of management systems and change management.
