To provide students with a capstone for their studies by using practical experience to apply their public relations knowledge and skills and to reflect deeply on the relevance and applicability of previous studies in the program to professional practice.
Students will apply advanced skills in reflection to critically analyse professional practice in the public relations industry, prepare for transition to employment, and consolidate their preparation for life long learning. They will spend a minimum of three weeks full-time, or part-time equivalent, working with a communication professional in a public relations capacity and will work on campus in small groups to reflect on their learning.
