To develop students’ advanced capabilities in critical analyses of cooperative and coercive approaches to global and human security, and the global politics of major contemporary security and ecological sustainability issues.
To develop students’ advanced capabilities in critical analyses of global, national and human security, including international relations theories, strategic history, strategic analysis and intelligence, with reference to major conflicts, changing global polarity, nuclear deterrence, proliferation, missile defence and terrorism as well as practical human security issues, including misogynous femicide, natural disasters, interdependence and constructing cooperative security, the global politics of energy security and ecological sustainability.
