Course aim

To enable students to conduct flood assessment tasks, assess associated risk and devise appropriate flood mitigation strategies

Course content

This course covers three modules:

  • Module 1 – Regional Flood frequency studies and ungauged catchment predictions
  • Module 2 - Flood Routing, catchment modelling and flood forecasting
  • Module 3 – Water Sensitive Urban Design
