Course aim

Students will extend their knowledge and skills in promoting healthy ageing and well-being of older people.

Course content

Demography and ageing population - implications for the provision of services; images and attitudes to ageing; aged related changes/development and adaptation - biological, psychological, sociological cultural and spiritual; health assessment; life as an older person; health promotion and maintenance; health education.
