Course aim
To develop skills and strategies used to design interior space for human occupation.
Course content
The relationship between human beings, habitation and occupation, the environment and the design of interior space; introduction to spatial planning, scale, spatial dynamics and composition; analysis and manipulation of interior space including volume, material, pattern, fenestration; introduction to environmental and cultural influences on the design of interior space.
