Course aim

The aim of this course is to develop students in their professional role through praxis and demonstrate competency for midwifery practice using emancipatory learning to pursue continued knowledge development.

Course content

National and international perspectives in midwifery; future directions in midwifery; emancipatory practice; patterns of midwifery care; ethics; midwifery research and practice; application of pharmacokinetics and medication management.
