Course aim

The aim of this course is to develop the ability to participate in a broad range of child birth and neonatal care options in contrast to traditional care within the social, political and economic contexts of midwifery.

Pathophysiology of neonates; psychosocial science; neonatal health problems and midwifery care; complementary therapies; environmental health; infant health assessment; research; critical reflection and analysis
