Course aim

The aim of this course is to discover, analyse and engage with the processes underpinning the conceptualisation, and detailed planning for the execution of complex, socio-technical engineering projects.

Course content

Understanding the capability requirement; requirements engineering; conceptualisation of systems and product lifecycles; implementation strategies; factors affecting the project; stakeholders; political, financial, time, legal, ethical, strategic, environmental, sustainability, scope management, labour and skills availability; technologies and intellectual property; development projects; integration projects; MOTS and COTS; facilities; WBS, PBS, Gantt, networks, EVM.
