Course aim

To introduce students to physical situations modelled by differential equations and their appropriate solution techniques.

Course content

Modelling using differential equations; first-order, separable, Lotka-Volterra; Second-order differential equations and applications; Linear systems; Nonlinear differential equations, stability; Laplace Transforms.
