To provide students with practical experience of the property development process in order to broaden their appreciation of the need for town planning regulation and to develop their understanding of the developer’s perspectives on the planning and development interface.

The syllabus draws on materials presented in complementary courses, namely, Urban & Regional Development (ARCH 2055), Urban Design Workshop (ARCH2014), Planning Policy (ARCH 2042) and Planning Information Management ARCH2041).
