Course aim

To provide students with knowledge and analytical skills of planning and management techniques required to develop and implement an engineering project into a business organisation.

Course content

Project initiation, project organisational structure and work breakdown structure, project screening and evaluation using inputs from organisation’s strategy and cost evaluations, project risk management, project time and cost estimation, scheduling and planning, budget and resource management, project control and monitoring, project termination. Case studies.
