Course aim

To provide education in the area of advanced remote sensing and the application of this technology to a number of case studies

Course content

Hyperspectal remote sensing; object oriented classification; introduction to radar remote sensing; introduction to photogrammetry; review of applications of remote sensing to areas such as urban development, precision agriculture, forestry biomass estimation, mineral exploration, coastal mapping, fire mapping, and ice monitoring.
