The aim of this course is to advance students’ knowledge of communication and ethical theory together with critical thinking, reflection and ethical reasoning skills, in order to develop a capacity for moral agency with clients, their family and carers as well as colleagues in a variety of health care settings.
Critical thinking and reasoning, ethical theory, ethical reasoning, reflective skills, moral agency, communication theory, dealing with difference, power and rank, anger and conflict management, collaborative decision making, understanding and working with grief.
