Introductory Information Technology Mathematics

Course aim

To provide students with the necessary mathematical foundations for a program in Computer and Information Science/Information Technology.

Course content

Arithmetic and algebraic operations, linear equations in one and two variables, quadratic equations, surds and indices, logarithmic and exponential functions, matrices and determinants, sequences and series, absolute value and inequalities, sets, basic probability and statistics
