To critique and conceptualise curriculum design and evaluation in TESOL.
Students will undertake critical analysis of constructions and designs of curriculum, including cultural, political,
socio-economic and educational contexts of TESOL. They will assess stakeholder priorities and learning
challenges for students in terms of content scope, selection, sequencing and assessment in TESOL
programming. Students will plan an evaluation of TESOL curriculum and assessment policies, content and
assessment frameworks including goals, objectives, and outcomes as curriculum constructs and roles of
instructional materials.
