To ensure graduates have gained experience working in a professional workplace and have been given exposure to some professional experience in the planning area.
Component 1
A minimum placement of 30 days within an approved professional planning office comprising part or full time attendance i.e. provided the 30 days are completed within the period of June to August . Students may negotiate periods of part or full time attendance as appropriate.
Component 2
A seminar program structured to support placements and in particular involving peer discussion of Placement Presentations and guest lectures on the ongoing management of planning oriented work experience placements. Students should obtain at least two of the following experiences in the workplace:
