The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of the processes and practices of managing projects focusing on community development and the improvement of the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities.
Definition, variety and features of projects in different contexts; relationship to strategic direction, innovation, change management; uses in service improvement, health and community development; stages and processes of project management; tools, technology and techniques; challenges to and determinants of success; leading and facilitating teams and collaborations; communication, participation and engagement; action learning, action research and organisational learning; ethical, legal and governance issues.
