To consolidate students' ability to critically interpret intercultural communication in Asian contexts.
Students will develop an advanced level understanding of linguistic, geographical, social and political perspectives on representations of Asia; issues of diversity and identity in Asian contexts; and intercultural dynamics in the Asian region and undertake a case study to develop research technics.
