Course aim

To enable pre-service teachers to develop capacities to operate as competent scholar-teachers within schools and their communities; critically analyse personal and peer performance and reflect upon practice, and implement change which leads to more effective teaching and learning.

Course content

Reflection on actions, reasons for actions and planning for diversity; curriculum integration in the learning program; planning assessment and recording; classroom management; teacher as reflective practitioner and teacher as learner; evaluating learning programs.
