To develop and apply the mathematical and statistical tools relevant to life insurance and related disciplines.
Functions involving two lives and selection, life tables and contracts, the equation of value for fixed and variable benefit contracts, the techniques of discounted emerging costs and asset shares, calculation of benefits and costs of contracts, population modelling and projection, modelling and modelling risks to life insurance companies.
