Course aim

To provide students with a broad understanding of the development and application of law as it applies to aviation in Australia and globally. 

Course content

Australian legal system; National aviation policy; Public law fundamentals and their relevant application to the Aviation industry; Aviation Insurance Law; Environmental Law; International regulation of aviation and jurisdiction; Accident/incident duties and responsibilities for domestic and international scenarios; and Legal differences in aviation between Australian and other aviation hotspots with regard to public law and aircraft rules/regulations.
