To recognise and assess student engagement and industrial experience through the STEM Professional Practice Program required for future roles as qualified engineers.
This course requires students to complete the UniSA STEM Professional Practice Program (PPP) and accrue at least 450 hours (60 days FTE) of discipline and/or industry related skills and competencies, with at least half of these hours spent in industry on a placement prior to graduation. These hours can be gained through a range of professional engagement activities such as placements, internships, guest lectures, industry panels, site visits, networking and industry events.
Upon completion of the PPP, students will be invited to enrol in this course and complete the required assessment. The student will not be eligible to graduate until they have received a non graded pass (NGP) for this course.
