Designing for Online Learning

Course aim

To enable students to explore the key design principles that inform the development of quality online courses for a global audience.

Course content

Students will focus on examining and understanding the principles associated with effective design and delivery of online courses. These principles are explored based on underlying learning theories, knowing the learners' social, ethical and cultural practices. Design principles are investigated under the broader themes of organisation, content, pedagogy and technologies.
