Course aim

To explore the key design principles that inform the development of quality online courses for a global audience.

Course content

Online learning theories; informal and blended learning; planning for learning; social, ethical and cultural practices; design principles- interaction, cognition, navigation, personalisation, multimedia, feedback and support, engagement, simulation and critique implementation of these principles.
