Course aim

To introduce students to some of the key technical, conceptual and creative aspects of film and television production.

Course content

Overview of all stages of the production process in film and television; pre-production; camera operation, sound operation, digital editing; crew roles, shooting and directing; basic project management; screen language concepts and techniques; spatial continuity and temporal continuity concepts; creative conceptualisation and basic storytelling; dynamic imagery; dynamic editing.
