To develop students’ proficiency in Japanese at an advanced level and extend their knowledge of interculturality through participation in various settings and a study of pre- and early modern representations of Japanese culture critically reflecting on their significance to contemporary society.
Students will consolidate their knowledge on vocabulary, structures and text types drawn from a range Japanese media developing high-level communication skills in Japanese; a selection of cultural texts drawn from key literature.
