UniSA Clinical & Health Sciences
To develop a student’s skills in the critical evaluation and basic methodologies of research in health science, and to discuss commonly used statistical tests.
In this course students will develop their knowledge of epidemiology, basic research designs and research ethics then employ these skills to critically evaluate published research. Students will also gain a basic understanding of descriptive and commonly used inferential statistics. They will apply these skills in the preparation of a submission of a research proposal to an ethics committee.
