To develop knowledge and skill in Design for Six Sigma and its application as a roadmap for product development.

Course content

Introduction, Necessary Statistical Background, The Six sigma Metric, Six Sigma Fundamentals, Aspects of Design for Six Sigma, Fundamentals of Experimental Design, Factorial Experiment, Two-level Full Factorial Design, Fractional Two-level Factorial Design, design optimisation: Taguchi's robust parameter design.
