Course aim

To facilitate the development of students’ knowledge and skills in information and communication technologies (ICT), and to empower the students to explore the capabilities of technologies in learning and teaching.

Course content

Roles of information and communication technologies (ICT) in learning and teaching; using technologies as learning, instructional and management tools; the roles of learners and teachers; the social and ethical issues of using ICT in education; examination of the relevant theories and research; and the translation of theories and research into practices.
