The course aims to develop skills of evaluative and critical thinking and ethical reasoning, enabling educators both to question what it means to educate, and to implement successfully moral education and critical thinking programmes in their own classrooms
Ethical inquiry and reasoning; what it means to educate: thinking and evaluating critically; interrogating knowledge and truth claims; recognition of bias, prejudice, falsehoods and indoctrination; advocacy and defence of educational intention.
