Course aim

To engage students in constructivist perspectives of student learning; social constructivist pedagogies including interactive approaches to teaching; thinking and working mathematically and scientifically.

Course content

Constructivist perspectives of student learning; social constructivist pedagogies; thinking and working mathematically and scientifically; planning for learning in mathematics and science with a focus on prior knowledge ; key concepts embedded in sorting and classifying, vertebrates and invertebrates, pattern, number, forces and motion of Years 3 to 9 curriculum.
