To consolidate and broaden experiences and understanding of the principles of teaching Health and Physical Education in primary and middle school settings.
Curriculum construction in Health and Physical Education; scope, sequence and breadth of learning experiences and outcomes in Health and Physical Education; critique of curriculum frameworks; contemporary and enduring issues in Health and Physical Education; strategies for meeting diverse and special needs; critical aspects of the teaching and learning process; inclusive and equitable learning environments; establishing rich learning environments within and beyond the school settings; evaluating teaching and learning processes from technical and critical perspectives.
