Course aim

To enable students to apply knowledge to the development of evaluation frameworks to inform policy and program-related decision-making in their own fields of practice.

Course content

Students will gain an understanding in the definitions of evaluation, rationale for evaluation, evaluation models and approaches, planning for evaluation, selecting elements to evaluate, gathering and analysing evidence, generating knowledge and its application and ethical issues in evaluation.
