The aim of the course is to develop consulting experience through an assignment for a company in which the student is employed or for a problem supplied to the student.
Students will concentrate on a major analytic assignment under the supervision of the coordinator or an assigned mentor. Those already in business will be able to use data from their existing company; those who do not have access to relevant data will be provided with material to form the basis of their project. Key areas covered: problem identification, choice of analytic methods, analysis, and presentation of results in written and oral forms.
