Course aim

To provide students with the opportunity to acquire first-hand knowledge and experience of a range of interstate or overseas planning perspectives, development issues and management processes.

Course content

Issues in interstate and international planning policy and practice. Housing and transport issues. Urban design and socio-cultural issues. Environmental planning and sustainable development approaches. Land use, strategic planning and development policies in other Australian states and territories or countries.

All prospective students interested in undertaking this course will be required to attend an information session. Following this meeting, all interested students will be required to complete a written expression of interest. The expression of interest will be used to judge eligibility to take this course due to the limited number of spaces.
