Course aim

To introduce and develop knowledge and skills relating to the advanced concepts, principles and philosophy of strategic project management.

Course content

Introduction to strategic project management philosophy and principles and comparison with traditional delivery approaches, strategic planning, setting up integrated teams and managing team dynamics, project management case studies, project scheduling, critical path method, use of Microsoft Project, leadership of project teams, project auditing, evaluation and review, planning a strategic project proposal.
