Course aim

Through artefact production to enrich professional creative studio-based understandings and skills which will meet both academic and postgraduate standards and contemporary industry demands.

Course content

Students will build upon and enrich creative studio production within the student’s nominated specialisation. In addition, within each Supervised Studio course a topic, or series of topics will be succinctly identified and the methodology for studio led research and reflective practice outlined. Both the designated supervisor and the Program Director will need to approve the study scope and assessment prior to commencement of this course. Arrangements involving industry partners will entail negotiated discussion and agreement around the nature and scope of each project. Students will select a specialist practitioner as an external mentor and meet with them regularly or as negotiated through the study period.
